Frank Inzan Owen A haunting blend of deep, slow-flowing penumbral spaces and vast illuminated vistas. Expansive to heart-mind. Purifying for the soul. Favorite track: Birdland (Avian Silhouette).

about

The songs were mostly complete a couple years ago, but I am finally letting go of them. Akin to revisiting forgotten memories and the emotion/impression of the place inherent where they occurred. Memory has become a decaying museum. Remembrance animates the motionless figures. Quiet sounds emanate from intimate landscapes imbued with the memory of bittersweet affections. Pane glass windows echo unintelligible words from disembodied voices in empty rooms in abandoned houses. The gentle tension of wavering spider webs be-speckled in the morning dew. Once a century the forlorn ghost raises its head into the moonlit mist to see if its lover has returned to the place where they promised forever; until no form is seen or answer is heard, and once again, sinks beneath the silent headstone which is pinned to the chest of the land like a boutonnière of boldly and conspicuously professed love. While the poet raved and the musician played, one singular blue-eyed boy stayed, to watch the moon bloom while memory, like the sun, in oblivious splendor did fade.
